The Party menu, remade

Find a party in one click

Flag yourself for Auto Party and the server finds a party that fits your job, your level and what you want to do, then shows it on one card to accept. Parties post the jobs they want seat by seat on the Party Board, which anyone can browse. A seat that empties is posted again at once, and trusts hold a seat until a player arrives. Invites, kicks, the lead and Level Sync are all in the same window, across zones. Open it from the main menu's Party row, or Ctrl+Shift+P.

The Masquerade

Build a disguise from the beastmen you fought, a goblin's face or an orc's hide, and walk among their kind. Talk to them, hear their news and what they really think of you, learn their words and their greetings, and hope nobody looks too closely: the wrong word, a spell or the rain on your musk can give you away. Mask Tout Rizz in Lower Jeuno knows who sews the faces.

More for real company

Play alone, or in a party of real players only, and every kill gives bonus experience that a party with trusts does not get. Your multiplier shows over your party list.

New

  • The chat line takes 450 characters. A long message goes out as a few lines in your channel, cut between words.
  • The server's commands are typed like the game's own, with a slash: /stats for your Tally, /ach for your achievements. /commands lists every one you can use.
  • Monsters, townsfolk and other players keep their detail as they move under FSR and TAA.

Improved

  • The target bar is about half the size, at the top left under the Commands box and the status icons.
  • A GUIDE switch on the objective tracker's header turns the Wayfinder guide on or off.
  • The Blood Moon rises for one night, the night the moon is fullest.
  • Long names of people and monsters show in full.
  • Faster sun shadows round characters.

Fixed

  • Eastern Altepa's dust storm sky shows no strips or ghost mesas.
  • Davoi's magic barriers look as they should.
  • Grass no longer looks bare a few steps away, and there is no faint square round camp fires.
  • Battle wounds no longer cover weapons or bleed head to foot.
  • No white lines round Eastern Altepa's antlion pits.
